After the funeral, when the cards and flowers have stopped coming, most of the people around you return to their normal lives. But your grief continues, and you feel alone.

Often, friends and family want to help you but don’t know how.

That’s the reason we have GriefShare. Our group is led by caring people who have experienced grief and have successfully rebuilt their lives. We understand how you feel because we’ve been in the same place. We will walk with you on the long path through grief toward healing and hope for the future.

Why attend a grief support group?

Attending a grief support group after the death of your loved one can provide several benefits that will help you in your healing process.

Here are 4 reasons why you should join our GriefShare group.

1. Grief often leads to feelings of isolation. Finding people who truly understand the depth of your emotions is challenging. Meeting with people who have experienced similar losses and sharing grief experiences and stories with those who can relate to you provides validation, comfort, and a sense of belonging.

2. GriefShare provides a safe place for you to express your emotions without judgment. Others in the group offer empathy, compassion, and support, which can help you navigate your grief journey more effectively.

3. Each session helps you better understand the various aspects of grief. We provide insights into the challenges you may face along the way. Proper knowledge about grief empowers you to navigate your emotions and make informed decisions about your healing.

4. We also believe that your spiritual health is just as important as your mental, emotional, and physical health, so we talk about what role faith plays in your grief-healing process.
