Our vision for kids is that they would find safety in God, grow in the understanding that God made them and loves them, that Jesus is their savior. Additionally, they would be equipped to walk out these biblical truths in their everyday lives.

ENGAGING TEACHING
We never want to underestimate the impact kids can have through following Jesus. That’s why each Sunday we provide age-specific Biblical teaching and encourage kids to apply the things they learn.
NEW FRIENDSHIPS
We’re big fans of fist bumps and high fives! Additionally, our kids have fun getting to know each other through talking about Bible stories together and asking thoughtful questions.
LOTS OF FUN!
Kids are an incredible example of what joy found in Jesus looks like and remind us that celebration is important. We make sure to have plenty of fun through interactive games and activities!
WHAT ABOUT SAFETY?
Crossroads places a great deal of emphasis on safety. Our volunteers all receive background checks, and our staff and ministry partners are informed on how to walk with kids who have experienced trauma.

My child wants to be baptized. What does that process look like?
Please watch this video with your child, and email kids@crossroadsidaho.org to let us know your child is interested in getting baptized!
What does Sunday check-in look like? Where do I go as a parent? How do I pick them up?
- You can check in through the app, or a hospitality leader can lead you to a check-in station where you will get a name tag and a safety tag.
- To pick your child up, return to their classroom and show your safety tag.
Is there somewhere I can go to nurse my child?
Yes, you will be directed by a hospitality leader to the Mother’s Room. We also have a Wiggle Room for those kids who just need to get their wiggles out!
Will you contact me during the service if my child needs assistance?
Absolutely. You will receive a text to return to the room that your child was checked into.
Do all volunteers get a background check?
Yes!
How can I get involved with Crossroads Kids?
Through the First Serve process, you will be given a tour, receive training, and get a chance to tell your faith journey story.
Do I need to bring anything? Should I leave my diaper bag with you?
No, we have everything your child needs! You can keep your diaper bag with you.
Will you change my child’s diaper?
No, we will contact you for any diapering needs.
